Delete your ReSpace account
You can request deletion of your ReSpace account and associated data at any time. We honour every request within 30 days.
How to request deletion
Email privacy@respaceai.app from the address you signed up with. Include the word "DELETE" in the subject line.
We'll confirm receipt within 2 business days, verify the request matches the account on file, and complete deletion within 30 days. You'll get a final email when it's done.
Or delete from inside the app
- Open ReSpace and go to the Profile tab
- Scroll to Settings → Delete account
- Confirm the prompt
In-app deletion runs immediately. Your account is signed out the moment the request completes; uploaded photos, generated designs, history, and your sign-in are erased server-side. Active subscriptions are not cancelled by deletion — manage renewals separately in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
What gets deleted
- Your account profile (display name, email, profile photo, country, Style DNA preferences)
- Every photo you uploaded
- Every AI-generated redesign and shopping list tied to your account
- Your generation history and favourites
- Your subscription status and credit balance on our servers
- Any analytics events tied to your user ID
What we keep, and why
- Billing records — subscription receipts and tax records are retained for up to 7 years where required by Indonesian, US, or EU tax law. These records contain transaction IDs only, no profile data.
- Aggregated, anonymised analytics — usage metrics that no longer identify you (e.g. “100 users picked Scandinavian style this week”) may persist in our reporting.
- Backup snapshots — routine encrypted backups may briefly contain your data after deletion. Backups roll over within 35 days, after which all traces are gone.
Subscriptions and refunds
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active Pro subscription billed through Apple or Google. Cancel from your device's subscription settings before deleting the account, or you'll continue to be charged.
- iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → ReSpace → Cancel
- Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → ReSpace → Cancel
Refund requests follow Apple's and Google's standard policies — we cannot process refunds on their behalf.
